Idaho Business Review: "Get ready for the return of the food truck showdown"

One event is putting the feast into festival, quite literally.

The Southern Idaho Food Truck Feastival is returning for a third year on May 18 and will have something for everyone's taste ― especially food.

From 3-8 p.m. on May 18 at Memorial Stadium in Boise, the Boise Hawks and Southern Idaho Food Truck Association will be presenting the festival, which is now free to attend, having traditionally been a ticketed event.

"We're thrilled to build on the success and momentum of the last two years and know that this year's event is going to be a great time for the food trucks and our fans," said Mike Van Hise, vice president of the Boise Hawks.

Of course there will be food trucks, but attendees will also find beer and wine gardens, live music, inflatable kids' rides and family friendly events.

More information about the event can be found through either the Boise Hawks' or Southern Idaho Food Truck Association's websites at boisehawks.com or sifta.org respectively.
