PBL Players of the Week - Week 12

PBL Players of the Week (Week of 8-7-23)

North Division Pitcher of the Week: Brady Held, Great Falls

A short and successful outing for Brady Held of the Great Falls Voyagers this week, earning him Pitcher of the Week honors. In only five innings pitched, Held sat down eight batters on strikes, only allowing three hits and three walks to earn one run. He ties his season high in strikeouts, set only last week against the Mustangs. His performance was enough to earn the Voyagers their one win of the week against the Chukars, a close 4-3 victory on Wednesday.

North Division Batter of the Week: Mark Herron, Jr., OF, Idaho Falls

A significant bounce back week for the Chukars was spearheaded by Mark Herron Jr, who recorded a hit in every game of the week to earn Batter of the Week. Herron Jr. ended up with eleven hits, including two doubles, two home runs and a triple. He also batted in nine runs in the 4-2 week against Great Falls and Grand Junction. The Chukars are lowering the gap between them and the Voyagers with the Range Riders on deck for next week.
