Yolo struck for a run in the first. Designated hitter Braylin Marine singled with one out. Following him, shortstop Bobby Ladathroug came through with an RBI double making it 1-0.
The Chukars responded with two runs in the bottom of the first against High Wheelers starter Shaun Gamelin (1-2). In the fourth, the visitors extended the lead to 4-2 on a double by right fielder Tanner Smith.
However, for the second straight night, Idaho Falls took the lead for good with a five-run inning. Last night it was the sixth, and tonight it was the fourth. Two batters later, shortstop Theo Hardy gave the Chukars the lead for good with a two-run single which made it 6-4. Hardy would later score on a wild pitch.
