Pitching Woes Continue to Hurt Voyagers; Mustangs Pile on in Game 4 Win

Mustangs Even Series with Voyagers

(Great Falls, MT) - The Billings Mustangs got off to yet another hot start against the Great Falls Voyagers on Friday night. After two scoreless innings, the Mustangs drove in their first two runs off the bats of Connor Denning and Alejandro Figueredo.
Great Falls would get a run back in the bottom of the third, but Billings continued rolling in the Fourth inning, scoring 5 runs and making the score 7-1.

Collin Runge hit a home run, and Christian Coipel doubled in two more, making it 7-4 as the Voyagers refused to go away. However, Denning was far from finished. A third hit in the 6th and a fourth RBI powered the Mustangs to 10 runs. Great Falls got one more run back on a wild pitch before a lightning delay sent the game to a halt. The game was officially declared over after an hour of fieldwork by superstar grounds crew workers Landon Fish and Royce Jendro was not enough. The game ended with a final score of 10-5 through six innings giving the Voyagers no chance at another late comeback.
