Hitter of the Month: Christopher Sargent Jr., (C), Ogden Raptors

Christopher Sargent Jr. capped off a stellar month of July by being named RedPocket Mobile Player of the Month. The Raptors’ catcher was a force at the plate, batting .440 with a .517 on-base percentage and a staggering .910 slugging percentage, which led the league for the month. Over 24 games, he tallied 44 hits, including eight doubles and 13 home runs, while driving in 38 runs. At this point in the season, Sargent Jr. is tenth in batting average (.377), third in homers (27), and first in RBIs (113). His consistent production and power helped fuel the Raptors’ offense as they power through the second half of the season.
